Being Woman!

Yesterday was one such busy day that I had no time even to have food !
In the evening as I ran to the station (already exhausted) to reach my class which was mere two stations away..
It was 5.30 pm.. It just takes 17 minutes to reach my class which was scheduled at 6..still being a Kobra..Reaching 5-10 minutes before time is mandatory! ;)
I hurriedly reached the station and searched for a working ATVM machine to get my ticket..
At such times being third in the queue of ATVM machine also seems irritating..
After few minutes I got my ticket and ran to the bridge..it was the middle bridge and I had planned to board the last compartment, which meant I had to walk all the way to it before the train departed...
The train was announced even before I was even on the bridge..I increased my speed from 100 to 150 in typical Mumbai style..
As I was getting down the bridge to the platform I saw a pregnant woman slowly climbing down the stairs..
Within a microsecond my speed was automatically reduced to hers..
I walked beside her till the end of the bridge..
As we were on the last step, she gave me a thankful wink..and I winked back..!
I hurried and boarded the middle compartment..with a happy mind inspite of the compromise..my day was made..!
